Synchronized Transcripts

The deposition video is synchronized with the court reporter’s ASCII transcript. Synchronized Transcripts are the easiest way to review a video of a witness’s testimony and locate the important sections. Video clips can be created that contain both the video and the related transcript text for review or presentation at trial.

Video Encoding and Transcoding

Video Encoding is the process of converting analog video, typically from VHS video tapes, to a digital format. Digital video can be stored on a CD-ROM or DVD and may be copied to a computer’s hard disk.

Transcoding is a process that converts digital video to another digital format. Transcoding is used to convert digital video from DV tape or DVD to the MPEG format when Synchronizing a Transcript.
